My family thought this was one of the most beautiful apartments we visited in Italy. Hermes made us feel so welcome, too. Five-plus stars from all of us.

The staff were kind, friendly, and ready to help, and the location is very central, near Lecce’s iconic sights. The rooms are dark and don’t get much ventilation; there’s water in the ground, which is partly encouraging small patches of mold. Parking nearby is the main downside, with no guest parking or place to load and unload luggage in the restricted traffic zone.

There’s no elevator, but this historic B&B is a good choice for a work trip. The rooms are spacious and gorgeous, and the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. It’s right in the city center, 600 meters from the train station and a five-minute walk from Piazza Sant'Oronzo.

Breakfast was decent, and we found the apartment comfortable and easy to live in. The location is really lovely. Cleanliness and upkeep could be better for some furniture, including one of the two beds.
