Dimora San Biagio Suites & Apartment

The room was fine, the location was great, and the cleaning staff were very nice. The management experience was another story. We tried to arrange parking in advance as the website suggested, but got no reply to our WhatsApp messages or email. On arrival, we had to call because no one had contacted us. They said to park on the street, which was okay, but there was no covered garage as we'd read. We also had to call and text to get check-in and room details. Once the cleaning staff had left, I wasn't sure anyone would respond if we needed something, since there was no staff on site and communication was lacking. The biggest hassle came just 25 minutes before checkout, when we got a call saying payment hadn't been completed and the booking was only reserved. We could either leave cash in the room or walk 15 minutes to another location to pay by card. We had enough time to do that, fortunately, but a business that wants to be paid should make payment convenient and plan for it. It felt unprofessional to assume guests can change their plans at short notice. The man apologized when we arrived for not telling us earlier, but didn't ask how our stay had been. That left me thinking either he didn't care or knew the service was poor and didn't want feedback. I wouldn't book here again if I'd known what to expect. There are plenty of other places nearby that may be better organized and easier to reach.

The location made everything easy. We could walk to restaurants, bars, and shops in about 5-10 minutes, and the place is right by the entrance to the ZTL, so we could drive close without entering the restricted area. We parked on the street nearby, watching for the blue public parking lines and buying a ticket at the machine. We spent four nights here and slept really well. The room and street were quiet, with no noise from neighbors or cars. The room was spacious, clean, and well equipped, with a big bathroom, closet, comfortable bed, plenty of towels, and bathroom amenities. Self check-in was simple and handy since we arrived late. The host was kind and helpful. I left my computer behind, and he arranged to ship it back to me. He was honest and very polite, and I'm really grateful. We had a wonderful stay and would come back.

We found Dimora San Biagio online just a few hours before catching the train, after deciding at the VERY last minute to spend the night in Lecce. Marco met us there and was friendly and SUPER helpful. Our room was comfortable and clean, and the spot in the old town by one of the historic gates was perfect. Lecce is lovely and easy to explore on foot. I'd HIGHLY recommend staying here!

Marco is a really nice, young, service-minded man, and our room was perfect. We also had a quite nice breakfast. The place is ideally located for exploring Lecce's lovely old city.
