Il Rifugio Dei Templari

The location was good and the space was large, but Bed & Breakfast Il Rifugio dei Templari was dirty. There was mold in the shower, poop splatter on the toilet rim, and dust on the furniture. The toilet paper holder was missing. The shower was coffin sized, its handheld sprayer didn't work, and broken pipe connections sent water shooting out. It was hard to rinse off the soap. The view of the nasty industrial equipment was terrible. We paid extra for breakfast expecting a real bed and breakfast, but instead received four tickets for Miro. The choices there were limited, the food just okay, and the restaurant dirty. The people were nice. The owner didn't explain how breakfast worked, and there were no written instructions. Had we known this wasn't an actual B&B and breakfast meant coupons, I wouldn't have paid extra. We didn't use the remaining three tickets, so it felt like wasted money. We never met the owner, and nobody showed us the room. We only communicated through WhatsApp, and there was a lockbox for the key. Adjusting the heating and air was confusing, with two thermostats and another set of controls near the window and in the bathroom. Nobody explained how to use them, so we had to figure it out ourselves. The temperature setting kept changing back to 24C on its own, leaving the room hot most of the time.
