Limehome Lecce Palazzo BN gave us a very good stay, with a modern design and the essential amenities. There's no laundry service, though. The location in Lecce's historic center was ideal for visiting places like Basilica di Santa Croce and Piazza Sant’Oronzo. A couple of things could be better. The floors and washroom seemed to have had only a basic clean, and more thorough housekeeping would improve the stay. There's no dedicated parking, so guests arriving by car have to find and arrange it themselves, which can be difficult in the city center. We enjoyed our visit and would recommend it if you're after a comfortable, modern, centrally located hotel. Better cleaning and a parking solution could make it one of Lecce's top places to stay.

It's a brand new place in a former bank building, with amazing architecture and 6m-high ceilings. Beautiful apartments right in the center of Lecce, excellent value for money. There's free parking with an EV charger a 2 min walk away. The Google location is wrong, look for the BN building on the other side of the street.

Our day was ruined by LimeHome's handling of this situation. After we'd been let into the room at 12 PM by on-site staff, who recognized us as regular clients from before the management changed to LimeHome, we got a call just 20 minutes before the official 3 PM check-in time. They said our booking was being canceled for a supposed contract breach and accused us of occupying the room fraudulently. LimeHome had confirmed our room number by telephone. Vanessa, representing the Italian management under the German company LimeHome, threatened to make us leave immediately. We tried for hours to reach the company and explain, but nobody picked up. They also cut ties with our booking agent, ignored his calls, and blocked any more reservations for the day. After hanging up on me while I was asking to resolve it with a senior manager, they called the police. The police were shocked to find no LimeHome representative there, and said it was a matter between two private parties they couldn't assist with. For the past 4 hours we were visited only by police, with no company representative. We had to leave one of our friends in the room without access codes, with limited ability to move around the property and town. They were essentially trapped, unable to leave and get back in. The place is run like a poorly managed Airbnb, seemingly operated by an AI with a rigid, unresponsive approach. LimeHome showed incompetence, no hospitality skills, and a despicable attitude. This is far from the beloved BN Palace it used to be. P.S. The curtain is ruined and the main AC unit isn't working.

At 2:45, we were given the access code to a dirty room full of the previous tenants' rubbish. Cleaning only arrived just after 3, the already late check-in time, and we're still unsure when we'll be able to use the room. Having to wait in the heat with luggage and small children, with nothing to do, has ruined our stay.
