Oikos Atena

Piera looked after us so well, including treating us to lovely breakfasts each morning. We spent four wonderful days in the heart of Lecce in her beautiful apartment. It was spotless and had air conditioning, bed linen, and towels. A little gem for a visit to Lecce!

We were there for four nights, and everything was perfect at Oikos Atena. The room was beautiful and the location was great. The hostess really made the stay special by looking after us the whole time. She made the bed every day, and there was water, juice, and yogurt waiting in the fridge when we arrived. My son and his partner were staying somewhere else, but the hostess still served us a generous breakfast every day: coffee, assorted pastries, pizzas, and panzerotti. Highly recommend it! Piera deserves a special mention for being so kind, flexible, and helpful. The property is beautiful, well kept, clean, and has everything needed for a stay. It's on a very quiet street, close enough to walk to Porta San Biagio and from there into central Lecce. Breakfast was hearty, with several local pastry specialties. I absolutely recommend staying here in Lecce. You won't regret it!

The owner was exceptionally kind and considerate about health precautions, and was happy to handle any requests at breakfast. My friends and I stayed here during Ferragosto week, around August 15th. It's a mini-apartment on the first floor of a building, and breakfast included local treats.
