Torre Rinalda Camping Village

We left after just one night because the music and entertainment shows at night were far too loud, so I can’t recommend the place. There’s very little shade, with only a few large trees, and the beach is pretty small. The pizza at the restaurant was okay, but we’ve had better.

A very good camping resort, with services and facilities above standard. The brand new swimming pool has areas and pools for both children and adults, and the beach is clean and comfortable. The staff are kind and professional. There are plenty of animation team members covering all areas, with activities for every age throughout the day. In the evening, there’s baby dance, variety, cabaret, musicals, and shows in a suggestive amphitheater setting. Local bands play music and dances characteristic of this wonderful land at night. Highly recommended for families with children and teenagers.

The beach is lovely, sandy, and the water is warm, great for kids. The rooms are basic but fine and peaceful, clean and functional. When you arrive at the chalet, the sheets are folded on the bed, so after a long journey it would have been nice to find the beds made. The pool staff were rude and acted like military police. We had booked six beds for six people, and the pool was empty, but if we put a bag on an unbooked bed they were on us immediately and treated us as if we’d done something awful. I’d understand if it were busy, but the mornings were so quiet, with 90% of sun beds free. We’d paid a lot for our six beds, but apparently you have to stick strictly to the ones allocated. The staff seemed to be on a power trip. Restaurants were bang average and expensive. It’s better to eat out, but having a drink is a hassle because someone has to drive. There’s nowhere to explore for food or drinks within walking distance, so you need the car.

My kids liked this campsite best of all the places we stayed, and I enjoyed it too, though the price was hard to like. It was the most expensive camping stop on our trip. The beach is pleasant and you can reach it directly from the campsite; dogs are welcome there and on the public section too. Pitches are roomy, but there isn’t much shade, with the wind helping a bit. The toilets and showers were clean and nice, and there were activities for children. The shop is good for a warm, tasty focaccia in the morning. They sort and recycle rubbish, and you need to separate it and bring it out in a see-through bag.
