We're sadly leaving this lovely bed and breakfast tomorrow, and it's been such a pleasure to stay here. Francesco was always smiling, courteous, and incredibly helpful. Breakfast was excellent in both what was provided and the service. The apartment was thoughtfully decorated and had what we needed while travelling. Even the sweet biscuits in the room added to its charm. This family-run place is easy to recommend. Thank you, Francesco and Lecce, for the lovely memories.

The rooms and suites are spacious and refurbished while still full of charm. The staff are lovely, breakfast is made to order, and there's a great rooftop terrace. The location is excellent, and I couldn't find anything to fault. Just be aware there are quite a few stairs if you have mobility issues.

The roof terrace is spacious, with views over Lecce and the stars at night, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed in a wonderful, tastefully decorated suite in this beautiful converted old townhouse in Lecce's historic center. There isn't a bar, or any food or drink after breakfast, so you'll need to bring your own. That's easy enough, since there are plenty of local shops to choose from. If you're driving, don't rely on sat nav. It may not work or may send you down very narrow streets in this ancient town, which feels much better suited to the original Fiat 500 than a modern car. They send directions, but the easiest route is through the Porta Napoli arch, then right onto Via Giuseppe Palmieri. Continue about 300m to Piazza Falconieri on your right. You can stop there to load or unload, then you'll need to park separately up the road, about a ten-minute walk away.

We had a quiet room in a great location. Our top-floor apartment was very grand, with a bathtub, a small balcony, and a private terrace. I'd definitely come back.
