Polvara Trentuno Accommodations

We had everything we needed to feel at home here. The place is quiet, with free, fast internet and a first-floor terrace where you can enjoy the mountain view or smoke. Our bed was cozy, there was lots of luggage storage, and the bathroom was bright. The casa is kept very clean, and breakfast was filling and tasty. I had the best cheesecake and sausages here. We're especially grateful to our kind and committed host, Mr Federico, who helped us many times and speaks English very well, so communication was easy. The train station is a little far, but he offered to drive us there for free, so it wasn't much of a drawback. I'd really recommend Polvara Trentuno!

Breakfast was really good, and the host gave us all the information and tips we needed for a great vacation. The rooms are modern and very clean, though sound carries through the walls. It's a bit of a way from the city center, but there's a bus stop nearby.

The room and bathroom were spotless and spacious, and having a kettle and fridge in the room was lovely. The service was excellent, too. I needed somewhere close to the hospital, and this was a super place to stay. The mother deserves a special mention for going above and beyond, and all the hosts were incredibly helpful. I'd definitely stay here again.

At $105 in June, it felt overpriced, and earplugs might come in handy. There's no parking, just street parking described as free. Breakfast was basic and ends too early, at 9:00 AM. A note invited requests, but we didn't ask. WiFi came and went. The place is nice and updated, and the hosts were nice, but noise was a real issue. Road noise mostly eased overnight, but the family dog barked as late as 11pm and as early as 6am. There's practically no insulation, and wide gaps around the door mean you hear other guests snoring, talking, and more, depending on their courtesy and the dog's. The bathroom was updated, spacious, and bright, but toiletries were just a few small body shampoo pouches and a hand soap pump, so bring your own soap. The shower was weak and had only a fixed shower head. The a/c worked very well and was preset to 25, but its filter was filthy and it had a bright blue light. We had a do not disturb sign up and had already said “NO Grazie” when the proprietor asked about refreshing the room, yet she came in while we were out. We didn't appreciate that. No elevator, which is a plus for you. It's an easy walk to the river and city center.
