B&B Camelie

The sea is wonderful, and it's about 300 meters away by a pleasant walk. You can choose the public beach or the private Lido Gandoli. I spent two days at B&B Cameli' and was warmly welcomed by the owner and his family. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities, and the terrace was beautiful for having breakfast with fresh fruit and breathing in the sea air.

Kind owners, a clean, well-kept B&B, and a lovely terrace for breakfast. It had everything we needed. The stunning Ionian Sea of the Gulf of Taranto is just a short walk away.

Awful. I can't give it zero stars. We got no sleep because there were no screens on the windows. The rooms are run-down, not cleaned properly, and the mattresses are incredibly comfortable. When we arrived, the owner showed us a table set for breakfast. It had dirty napkins and cups that previous guests had used just hours earlier. The owner saw them, but they stayed there for a day and a half. I could say more, but this place isn't worth any more of my time. Absolutely avoid.

The power kept going out, and if you were in the shower you had to leave the gate and reconnect the meter. Taking a shower took three hours because the water pressure kept changing. The shared kitchen was unusable, and the milk and jam in the fridge had been open for who knows how long. Better to have breakfast at a bar. The place was terrible, and so was the cleanliness. We had to clean our own room and bathroom. It wasn't that the cleaning lady didn't clean, but they didn't give people time to check out before the next guests came in, all to scrape together a few pennies. We wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Some neighbors in the room were also shocked by everything.
