Residence Arancio

The view from the large veranda was lovely, and the residence looked quiet and well kept from outside. But the first-floor apartment we got was neglected and not very clean. There were leaks in the ceiling, old noisy doors, windows, shutters, and the only air conditioner. Cutlery and plates had been tossed carelessly on the furniture, and we found cockroaches in both the kitchen and terrace. The hood was broken, the coffee makers were there, and the mattress cover was unsightly. There was plenty more I could mention. The phone information we'd been given didn't match what we found. The nearest sandy basin was a kilometer away, and the water there wasn't even very deep. The rock opposite was completely inaccessible, even for an adult, and obviously we wanted sand. With two little kids, aged 4 years and 4 months, that information mattered a lot. We paid as soon as we arrived, before seeing the apartment, and for what it cost, I’m not satisfied at all. When I returned the keys, I told the owner about these problems. He greeted me cordially, but seemed nonchalant about them.

The staff were very friendly, and our studio apartment was just right for two. The residence is only steps from the sea, so it's easy to get to the beach whenever you want or head out along the coastal road. A week didn't feel like enough. We'll definitely return next year.

The sea is beautiful, and the place is very well set up for summer. Its position works well for a swim or a trip back to the city. The one downside is that there isn't a beach nearby, just rocks.

After reading the other reviews, I can see others share my opinion. The photos you posted show the stay. Never again.
