Carmine and his family made this feel like a lovely home away from home. It's not the Ritz, but it has so much to offer. The view outside looked like a scene from an old Italian movie, just what I wanted from my trip. The homemade breakfast was included, and we had dinner with them too. It was top-notch and didn't feel like a rip-off, unlike places in other Italian tourist towns. My travel agent had made a big mistake. After a long day travelling from Venice, I discovered my reservation was for a completely different hotel hours away. The owner, Carmine, couldn't have been nicer. He offered to put us up for one night so we could sort out another place in the morning. I was unsure at first, but our room was immaculate and had everything we needed. The hotel is close to the ferry and lots of shops, bars, and restaurants. If you want a clean, welcoming place to stay, look no further.

The owner knows how to run a hotel. The location is fantastic, service was excellent, parking the SUV was easy, and breakfast was nice. We only stayed two days, but we'll be back.

The hotel's close to the city centre, beaches, and all the main facilities in Lerici. But our room was too small for three people, and I thought it cost too much for what was provided. There was no fridge in the room, the Wi-Fi was sometimes weak, and there was very little space to hang towels and swimsuits to dry. The garage was already full. Breakfast wasn't bad, though it could be better.

Check-in was awkward because they couldn't explain clearly in English that the room could sleep four. The description said there were two double beds and two single beds, but we found one double bed and one bunk bed. The room smelled strongly of tobacco, though they did change it for us. The quadruple room was too small even for one person. We stayed in a much bigger, better hotel in nearby La Spezia for half the price. It wasn't a pleasant stay, and I won't return.
