Marco welcomed us with great warmth, and it's a really good place. Unfortunately, we didn't get the chance to try the food. People say it's one of those places you have to eat at least once in your life.

Marco, the “director,” and the rest of the team made us feel welcome. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the cooking is simple, genuine, and delicious. This agriturismo has a timeless feel, with an easygoing, friendly style that really suits it.

We slept so well here, and the rooms were clean and inviting. Set in the middle of a natural park, it’s a lovely spot for quiet, nature, and a bit of peace. Marco and Maurizio were so warm and helpful that we felt we’d known them forever. And Marco’s cooking deserves a mention: he creates a changing menu around the season and what he can find, and it was all fantastic. Coming back soon, Marco!

That 120-kg wild boar in the garden gave us a startled look, waiting for a bite to eat. Leave the books alone, though, he’s already read them all. Marco’s got a huge library, and the beautifully laid tables are where you can enjoy food he prepares with effortless skill. The forest and rough road on the way in feel straight out of an old fairy tale, but once you arrive, the place draws you in. We felt at home with the surroundings, even when meeting Camillo in the garden felt like the most natural thing in the world. We’d gladly return to Marco. Lerici isn’t far.
