We were staying a little way up the hill for two nights, and came back here for dinner on the second evening. Both visits were great. The Spaghetti with Seafood and the Fantasia Đi Mare were the highlights for us. We had to use Google Translate a little to order, though the waiters did speak English.

We went to the beach just twice, then gave up on the idea of spending our 14-day holiday there. We'd planned a beach break with my family, four adults and our 11-month-old baby, but the manager of the hotel and beach, the lifeguards, and the staff were extremely rude and arrogant, with no flexibility at all. The manager even said, “we have a zero flexibility policy.” The beach was in no way child-friendly. We asked to use the paved upper part for 20-30 minutes so our child could sleep, since that wasn't possible in the sand with our pram. The owner refused, and a lifeguard threatened to call the police because we were going into a private area of the hotel to put our child to sleep. Staff had let us access it when we first arrived. Their reaction was outrageous, and I've never experienced anything like it. Getting a drink at the bar from the beach takes roughly 25 minutes: you have to walk the long way around to the bar, then go back to the sunbeds. This was awful for my family and me. The staff should be ashamed of how they treated us. I'd give zero stars if I could. I strongly suggest families avoid this hotel, especially its beach services.

We had a lovely time at this nice hotel. Our room was good, but it was the first one up the road and didn't have a real view, so make sure to request a sea view if that's what you want. Dinner was nice, and there was a good pool and a small beach. Renting a kayak and paddling out to the little cave in the bay is really exciting!

We've lived just up on Via Traversa V for 24 years and sometimes like to stop at the bar for coffee or a drink. We already know the 'Sisters' are awful hosts, especially to 'foreigners' who aren't Italian. Today, as we walked down to the bar along the road, she challenged us with “Dov'è vai?” I told her we were walking in for a drink. She said we had to take the stairs to the bar, not the road. I have a neurological problem in my legs and struggle with steep steps, so I explained that. She then let me go the other way. How rude, when we were coming to spend money at her establishment. I often feel sorry for foreign guests, Germans, English and others. The rooms are awful, poky, dark, and must be damp. I can't comment on the food because I wouldn't support her business that way. There are much nicer places where we're welcomed with a “kiss.” Their clientele is 99% Italians, so it's okay for them. I wish I could give zero stars. They have no private beach section and there's no direct route from the beach through to the bar. You have to go the long way around, as a previous guest found. Awful people! 😡😡😡😡

We only ate at the restaurant, we didn't stay at the hotel. It's a nice restaurant, but they charged 12€ for spaghetti with tomato sauce for our 2-year-old. That dish wasn't on the menu, which only has a small selection of seafood dishes.
