The rooftop was a hidden gem, with seats, tables, shade and amazing sea views. I could sit up there and read. I stayed seven nights in a modest room with a very nice-sized bed, perhaps queen-sized by Australian standards. Staff were very friendly, breakfast was lovely every morning, and it’s super close to a free public beach with beautiful sand and water. My bedding and towels were changed daily, and everything felt very clean. Lerici is a short bus ride away, and Tellaro is just down the road with plenty of restaurants. Remember to buy a bus ticket at the local tabaccheria or front desk, since they don’t take cash on the bus. I could often hear the neighbors next door, and they could probably hear me too. Still, I very much enjoyed my stay. Thanks again, I hope to return.

I liked the place and will come again. The hotel has a sea view, clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff, and a very nice breakfast buffet. The rooftop terrace was closed during my stay, and the restaurant isn’t currently operating, but there are other options nearby.

The restaurant was a big plus, and the hotel itself was nice, with friendly employees. But the bathroom wasn’t as clean as I’d like. The walls and some parts of the toilet looked old and used. It also wasn’t quiet, since you could hear people using bathrooms in other apartments. The rooftop needs renovation: there was old rubbish in an open bag, and the wooden planks need work too. We booked an ocean-view room, but the view was only just there, and you had to go very close to the window to see the sea. The value for the price wasn’t what I expected.

Check-in was easy, the staff were very friendly, and parking was close by in a lot. The breakfast was typical Italian sweets and meats. In the room, I liked the good air conditioning, the fridge for chilling the alcohol I’d brought, and the TV with a USB port that played media using current codecs. There was also a nice outside balcony off the room where I could smoke if I’d wanted to.

Some of the low ratings had left me with low expectations, as had the low price, so I was happily surprised to find a really nice hotel. The staff were professional and very service-minded, and it was the best breakfast I’ve ever had in Italy. I’d recommend it 100%.
