La Caletta is a small, rocky cove with clear water and a beautiful open sea view, but don't expect a postcard beach. There's no service, and rubbish among the rocks makes it feel neglected. The beach is tiny, and the path down starts suddenly by the roadside, with little signage, so it's easy to miss. Reaching it means descending a steep set of stairs; wear proper shoes because they can be slippery, and expect a climb back up. Be careful not to mistake it for the two other nearby beaches, which, as far as I could tell, can't be reached on foot.

It's such a shame to see a beautiful place neglected like this. The beach was littered with cigarettes, there was plastic all through the water, and huge rubbish bags containing medicines were left there.

The beach is so small there may not be much room to sit, and the many stairs down make it unsuitable for wheelchairs. Still, it's worth visiting for the beauty, the couple of caves, and the calm water in this enclosed spot. There tend to be lots of people whenever you arrive, though more seem to stay on land than go into the water. Watch out for jellyfish.

June 3, 2025, 12:16. There are about 335 steps each way. It was quite shady, and there was a lot of something floating on the water. Wouldn't recommend it today 😅
