The house itself feels like a sure bet, and it makes a great base for exploring the Matese area. Our room was clean and spacious, with a view over the Letino Valley. Breakfast on the lovely porch was a shared affair, with the friendly owners and their dog Cooper there too. They’re an easygoing, helpful couple, and the whole stay felt a lot like being at home.

The view is breathtaking, and the rooms are roomy and nicely furnished. The place is clearly well looked after, and the woman who runs it was exceptionally kind. Breakfast was the best part for me: the owner made delicious pancakes fresh for her guests. I’ll definitely come back.

Getting there by car is a bit tricky, but we made it in our Panda. Once there, we found a clean, welcoming room and a spacious kitchen, and Maria was so kind and welcoming. It’s a lovely spot for peace and quiet, hiking, or off-roading, especially after a swim in Lake Letino. We had a wonderful stay at the B&B La Casa Vecchia.

I spent 5 unforgettable days here. Mrs. Maria welcomed me with such warmth and grace, and I’m sincerely grateful for her hospitality. Letino is a lovely little village to visit, and this is the best place to stay if you’re looking for accommodation there.
