Albatros Beach Hotel

The staff made this stay memorable. Everyone we encountered, from breakfast and beach staff to the bar and shuttle team, was warm and genuinely caring. Reception were especially gracious and professional, and quickly sorted out a small room issue. They even surprised us with wine and fruit, which made us feel very welcome. The hotel sits right on the beach in quiet Letojanni, with views toward the Taormina hills, a lovely spot to unwind for a few days. Our room was basic and a little dated, especially the cupboards, though the bathroom was modern and had good shower products. Breakfast had a very good range of fresh and cooked food. A lovely hotel with an unforgettable team.

The reception team were especially helpful, and the service from the hotel staff was some of the best we’ve experienced anywhere. We had a wonderful, enjoyable holiday and would highly recommend the albatros hotel. The rooms were clean and nice, the beach was close by, and the Italian breakfast buffet was good too. The food was exceptional, and every staff member we dealt with was very good. The hotel itself is lovely, modern, and clean. I’d definitely recommend it.

The hotel is right on the beach, close to town but quiet enough that it didn’t feel touristy. Heading north to Messina was inconvenient, though there’s a shuttle going south to Catania airport. We spent three nights here on our honeymoon and wished we’d booked six. We tried two different rooms, both modern, beautiful, and extremely clean. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was out of this world for a hotel. We’ve already talked about bringing the kids here. It’s just about perfect, highly recommend.
