The hosts made us feel right at home, and breakfast was fantastic. We loved having outdoor grills and tables to use, and the ping pong table was a nice extra. It’s a charming, tucked-away spot with real peace and quiet. Those cool August nights were priceless. Thank you for everything.

For a week we felt completely at home, with Gabriele looking after us and the rest of the staff being friendly and kind. This house sits right by the forest and made a great base for visiting the Eastern Majella and the Pizzi Mountains. My wife had given it five stars after just two days, but the place deserved a comment too. It was a holiday away from time and stress, where guests are treated as companions and guided through the beauty of these enchanting places, not as people to exploit. The Lithius association, which runs the house, really lives up to its mission of hospitality and promoting the local area. Gabriele’s “Milanese-Abruzzese” enthusiasm for his ancestors’ land is contagious. Thank you.

The rooms were simple and clean, and outside there was plenty of space with tables, chairs, and atmospheric lights. We spent two days in complete relaxation, surrounded by the beautiful nature of Majella National Park, with total silence and stars at night. Gabriele gave us a warm welcome and went out of his way to point us toward exciting activities and places to visit. We hope to come back for longer, and with better luck. Ciao. See you soon.

We felt like family during our three days at Casina Barbolani. The rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean, and breakfast was fantastic and plentiful.
