The bedding was comfortable, but the bunk beds were made for children, and the lower one tilted as if it might fall over. The apartment was horribly noisy. It’s above a bar, the street is loud, and noise carries through the building. The real estate agency was friendly and easy to reach, though.

The price was absolutely reasonable, and the apartment was clean, with a terrace and a good location. I’d recommend it without hesitation!

The price for what you get is excellent, and the service suited us well. They made the bed and cleaned the room daily, with fresh towels provided. The room was clean and neat, with a firm, comfortable bed, a working fridge, and a safe in the wardrobe. The bathroom has a bidet, hairdryer, shower, toilet, and sink. The shower pressure was great, though the shower head leaked. There’s no shelf for your own shampoo and soap, no shelf beneath the mirror, and no toilet roll holder. Shampoo in a paper packet felt very outdated. The central location is excellent, close to the boulevard, beach, and plenty of places to eat. There’s no reception; you collect the key during business hours from a real estate agency on the same street. It was a little confusing at first, but no big deal. Breakfast is served around the corner, 150 meters away, at a small bar with six seats. It’s a yogurt cup, cornflakes, two slices of toast with jam, a croissant, and a drink of your choice. If the room is "booked," you sit on the covered terrace, which was chilly in February at 12 degrees Celsius. The staff are friendly and breakfast is adequate, though it gets repetitive after five days. This isn’t a hotel, but an apartment building with several rooms above restaurants. We were there in February, so there was no terrace noise, though there might be in summer. The hallway is extremely noisy, and you can hear other guests clearly when they come through. There’s a kettle in the room, but the coffee maker for four rooms is in the hall and makes a lot of noise. It’s awkward to get dressed, go out to make coffee, then return to your room. The room feels bare and lacks atmosphere or much of an Italian feel. Some decorations would help. There’s no comfortable chair or trash can, so you end up doing everything on the bed. The curtain is slightly too small to cover the windows properly. We used the air conditioning for heat, but it stopped working on the fifth evening. With a little more attention to these details, this could easily be a five-star stay. I think the operator is too cheap.

The renovated room was lovely, and housekeeping was excellent. The one problem was how close the clubs are. They played loud music late into the night, and it was deafening even with the windows closed.
