Agriturismo La Collina Verde

Rudy and Alina are lovely, and the place is wonderfully quiet among vineyards and vegetable gardens. It’s an 8-minute walk to the train station and 15 minutes to the city center, but far enough from the lights to watch the stars once they go off after midnight. The breakfast was the best I’ve had in Italy, with lots of delicious homemade food: focaccia, spinach tart, frittata, pizza, grilled vegetables, yogurt, and fruit and vegetables from their own farm.

We’d happily come back. The guesthouse sits in a quiet part of Levanto, surrounded by lovely vineyards, and both the beach and railway station are easy to reach. The hosts were very kind and gave us great suggestions for excursions around Cinque Terre. Our room was well equipped, and breakfast was delicious. Thanks so much!

I meant to stay for two days, but liked it so much that I stayed longer. The family-run farm is beautiful, growing kiwi, grapes, tomato, eggplant, olives, and limes, and the clean room had a personal touch and everything I needed. The caring hosts were warmhearted, breakfast was outstanding, and they were mindful of Covid. It’s an easy walk to the train for seeing Cinque Terre, and I was glad to have free car parking. I plan to return and recommend it. Thanks for the hospitality.

The quiet surroundings and all the birds made this the most relaxing part of my two-week trip, and I slept better here than anywhere else. The owners were warm and made a wonderful breakfast using their own produce. The welcome book and the owner at reception both gave useful information for the trip. The farm is just outside town and a very short walk from the train station, though the town itself is lovely for a few days. To find the street at the roundabout, take the small road immediately to the left of the hospital’s metal gate. Small signs on posts point you up the street. It becomes gravel for about 50 meters, then you’re there.
