We booked two nights at Caselo through booking.com and planned to check in at 8 pm, but a delay meant we couldn't get there until 10. We messaged the host to let her know. She got really upset about our late arrival and said we couldn't come then. Then she canceled the entire two-night reservation and kept our money because we were arriving late. I wouldn't recommend staying here unless you're fine with being scammed. Her messages were so upsetting, too. She canceled straight away, with no sympathy that we had nowhere to stay. An evil person.

Valentina and her husband were wonderful hosts when my husband and I stayed at Casello68 in September of 2024. Valentina met us at the train station and shared tips about places to eat and things to do so we could make the most of our days. Our room was immaculate, and every morning we found fresh bread, pastries, and fruit behind the door. We'd recommend Castello68. It's comfortable, and they make you feel right at home.

We had a great two-night stay at Casello 68. The room and bathroom felt modern and fresh, and I really appreciated how clean everything was. Valentina was friendly and communication was great. She was flexible about our arrival and departure times. There are four bikes available to borrow. We rode them to the train station, then took the scenic route to Bonassola for a beach day, which Valentina had recommended. The balcony was lovely for breakfast both mornings and for enjoying the evening sun with some bubbles before dinner in the Cinque Terre. It's a great base for exploring the Cinque Terre without staying right in the crowded tourist areas. Thanks for a lovely stay and for being so friendly!

That terrace was a lovely spot for breakfast, and our room was lovely too. My girlfriend and I spent three days at Casello68 and had a wonderful time. Valentina and Mirko were great, with useful ideas for day trips and places to eat.

The place was clean, easy to get around, and convenient. The host was really nice and replied incredibly quickly. Definitely five stars.
