Delaide Rooms

The location is handy, about 300 m from the station, and parking is offered. Levanto itself is a lovely town with plenty to do and some great restaurants. The place is on the first floor, though, and you have to use the stairs. Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived, and the bidet didn’t work at all. No one explained how things worked. I only realized the kitchen water boiler could be used after seeing another guest using it, since I’d assumed the kitchenette was private. There was never anyone around, and during our three days the room wasn’t cleaned. The bin got very full, and there was no replacement toilet paper, linen, or towels. The room was small, and the bed wasn’t comfortable. The pillows were flat and not cozy.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff clever, and the place beautiful.

We arrived to check in at 3 pm, but nobody from the staff answered, despite the Hotels.com listing saying someone would be on site. I tried all three phone numbers and couldn’t get a call through, then checked my messages and emails in case I’d missed something. In the end, we had to book a room at another hotel at the last minute. Do not book here.

The owner was kind and helpful, and the place was clean and kept in perfect order. My sister and I spent four days here and had a truly lovely stay. Our room was bright, spacious, welcoming, and had what we needed to be comfortable. It’s just steps from both the sea and the train station. We’d happily come back and highly recommend it.
