Angela, the hostess, was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean. The location is very convenient, close to the beach, restaurants, grocery store, and shops. But there’s no AC, just a ceiling fan that’s noisy and doesn’t do much. On hot summer nights you’ll need to leave the window open, which means street noise from very early morning until late at night, plus the occasional neighbor talking and laughing loudly at 2.30 am. Bring earplugs. A mosquito spray or something similar is a good idea if you’re sensitive, as there’s no window screen.

The owner was so warm and chatty, and as soon as she realized we were visiting, she started pointing out good places to eat and the easiest route to the beach. We stayed just one night, but felt right at home. The welcome from her and the other kind, outgoing person was lovely, and we thought it was great value. We’d happily recommend it.

Levanto made a good base for day trips to Cinque Terre, which can get very touristy. The B&B is cozy and well placed for exploring Levanto, and Angela was such a kind, attentive host. My only regret is that we didn’t book a longer stay.

It’s a cute, clean place, and the owner was really kind and helpful. Everything feels close by from this very central spot. The station is about a 10-minute walk, and the ferry takes around 10-15 minutes to reach on foot along the lovely beach. Highly recommend!

We stayed for one night out of our five in Lavento, and Angela was a kind, helpful host. The place was very clean and works well as a base, with easy access to the train. The bed was large and the shower was great. Thanks, Angela. We’d stay again. Catriona and Martin 👬🇮🇪
