If you like little villages where you can reconnect with yourself, this is a good place to stay. The facilities are well cared for and have all the comforts you need. It’s a few kilometers from the center of Levanto, up in the mountains, where the air is fresh and the scenery is beautiful.

A real back-to-nature kind of stay. The welcome was friendly, French is spoken, and the accommodation was very clean. Just be aware it’s in the mountains a few kilometers from Levanto, reached by very narrow roads, with parking some distance away. There’s no mobile signal inside and no air conditioning.

We were really looking forward to a lovely stay in the Cinque Terre, but our trip never got started. La Gatta Cleo cancelled our reservation because of overbooking, without asking us, and we had to find somewhere else even though it wasn’t what we wanted. So be careful when booking.

The apartment has a charming, traditional feel, and the host was friendly and easy to reach. One thing to keep in mind if you have a large vehicle: leave it parked below the village and walk the rest of the way.
