The apartment was dirty and run-down, with an unbearable smell of stale tobacco and mustiness that got into all our linens, even the ones in our suitcase. The sheets had hair on them, the floor was sticky, and the walls were stained. The sofa bed was in such bad shape that our children couldn’t sleep on it. For an apartment meant for four, the equipment was inadequate, with only two bowls and two forks, among other things. The neighbors’ trash cans were left outside our door for three days. This kind of rental is simply unacceptable. Run away.

The location is the one good thing about this place. The apartments are run-down and clearly mass-produced. In Apartment 1, the door between the bedroom and living/bedroom won’t shut, and the furniture is so worn that the balcony chair broke on its second use. First and last time.

The location is excellent, but the apartment is poorly maintained and the furnishings are poor. The closets are moldy, and the double sofa bed is very small with torn bases.

It looks well located, but the place is damp, in very poor condition, and not inviting. The furniture is damaged and the bed is really uncomfortable. We don’t recommend it.

The heated pool overlooking the Bay of La Spezia was especially breathtaking, and the well-equipped apartment had a fantastic view too. We found this apartment hotel by chance and stayed in an apartment for two nights. Gianluca and his team are incredibly friendly, and the place is truly wonderful. If we’re in the area again, we’ll definitely return.
