Villa Margherita

We found free street parking when we arrived, though the hotel's private parking costs 25 euro per day and isn’t included. The location worked well, and we could easily walk to the station for a tour of the city cinque terre towns. The property seems to have had a major upgrade, with modern amenities all in good condition, and the owner clearly takes pride in the improvements. Breakfast was fine, and it was quiet. Highly recommended.

We slept really well here, thanks in part to a very comfortable bed. The rooms are spacious, traditionally styled, and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was beautiful, and we especially loved eating in the dining area with its little Juliet balcony. It was one of our favorite breakfast spots during our time in Italy. This family-run B&B had a warmth that made our stay, and we’ll come back when we return in the next few years. Thank you, we loved it.

The hotel has lovely gardens with plenty of places to sit, furniture, and shade, and our room was comfortable and very clean. The buffet breakfast had loads of choice, with different things each day, and was very generous. The staff were lovely and helpful with suggestions for eating and visiting around town, and even booked tables for us. The station, town, and beach are each about a 10-minute walk away. We found it welcoming and relaxing, and will certainly return. I’d wholeheartedly recommend it.

We could easily walk to the station, beach, and downtown from Hotel Villa Margherita. Our room and bathroom were both roomy, with plenty of space to tuck luggage away. Breakfast had a great range of food and baked goods, and the woman looking after it did a wonderful job. We enjoyed eating on the small terrace overlooking town so much that it was hard to leave in the morning. When we couldn’t decide where to have dinner, the man at the desk picked a good spot and called ahead to reserve a table. The food and service were great, and we appreciated the help.
