What made our stay at Villa Valentina feel like home was the warmth around the meals. Dinner meant wonderful food, good wine, and easy conversation together. Breakfast was just as memorable, with fresh eggs, garden tomatoes, and cappuccino we kept going back for. The tomatoes, especially, were incredible. There were six of us, and we all loved the property. Our rooms were peaceful, comfortable, and beautifully finished, and the care in the details showed throughout the stay. Paula and Valentina also gave us thoughtful suggestions for Levanto and Cinque Terre that helped us enjoy the area at our own pace and in a more authentic way. Even before we left the U.S., their replies were prompt, reassuring, and helpful, so we arrived feeling ready and welcome. The website tells the story of how Villa Valentina began. From our experience, it delivered on everything we hoped for and more. 100 stars!

Paula and her daughter Valentina made me feel at home from the start. The staff were professional and accommodating, and everyone was made to feel welcome. It felt like staying with family who love to cook and have people over. The rooms were cozy and picturesque, and getting around Levanto was easy by train since everything is nearby. The homemade meals, jams, and honey were so good, you could taste the care that went into them. I really loved my stay and would recommend it to anyone visiting Levanto. Honestly, one of the best bed and breakfasts I've stayed at.

The train station is a short walk away, which made visits to the Cinque Terre villages easy. Levanto was a great base too, with places to walk, eat, shop, swim, and go boating. After a long travel day, we arrived at Villa Valentina and settled in for four nights. Paula and Valentina welcomed us and helped arrange restaurant bookings and taxis for dinner. We were there for a guest chef dinner with wine pairings on the lovely patio, and breakfast each morning was a treat with homemade food. A top-notch bed and breakfast, and one I'd happily recommend.

Villa Valentina was such a beautiful stop on our trip through Italy. Paula and Valentina were incredibly kind and gracious, making us feel welcome and special, almost like family. The atmosphere and hospitality were hard to beat. You won't regret staying here!

August 2025 The meals alone would make me want to return. Dinner was a five-course feast with local wine, and every ingredient seemed to come with a story from Paola and Valentina. Since rain was forecast, Valentina checked that we were happy to dine with the other guests. The storm turned out to be quite a show, but sharing the table with eight other people made for a brilliant evening and new friends. Earlier, we'd had homemade Limoncello Spritzes from the property's lemon trees, and Coconut & Co., Valentina's hypoallergenic Bichon Frisé, kept us company. Breakfast was another highlight: fruit smoothies, honey from Valentina's bees, eggs from the Villa Valentina coup, local tomatoes, and oregano from a woman in Cinque Terre. Paola made sure nobody left hungry. Our room was comfortable and had every amenity we could think of, even a speaker, cold water, and snacks. The showers were great too. The villa itself is adorable, with a romantic garden full of greenery, a gazebo, and places to lounge. My friend even napped in the gazebo, and there are chickens whose eggs go into the morning omelettes. The place smelled of lavender and good Italian cooking when we arrived. Valentina had messaged before our visit and offered to collect us at the train station, which made getting there easy. She also lent us bike locks so we could take bikes into town or to the beach, and gave us loads of useful advice about Levanto and Cinque Terre. The train trip to Cinque Terre is five minutes, or you can hike three miles. We preferred staying in Levanto, which felt like a sixth town, only much less crowded. Valentina and Paula gave us the best B&B experience either of us could have imagined. It was probably the best place I've ever stayed, and I can't wait to come back.
