We spent three wonderful weeks here in Puglia, and the setting made it easy to unwind. The gardens are stunning, and the private pool is the biggest I’ve ever seen. The staff handled every request with a smile and real friendliness. We also loved the chef and her team’s cooking so much that we never ate out. If you get the chance to visit this region, stay here. You won’t be disappointed.

The large pool and little spa make it easy to relax, and the service is excellent. This boutique Relais sits in a magnificent setting, with spacious rooms beneath vaulted ceilings and gourmet food prepared with local ingredients.

Chef Melo’s organic dishes were a highlight of our trip to Italy, and Sara was the best concierge ever, so caring and full of valuable tips. I hadn’t expected the place to be so special when I booked: it feels very exclusive, with just 8 rooms, plus an incredible spa. Please take me back!

It’s a shame to use a made-up name for a historic farmhouse when Masseria Albaro has appeared on topographical maps since 1600. Losing that historical memory does real harm to the area.
