We came to this Lake Como suite to get away from the daily grind, and had a wonderful, relaxing stay. The hot tub, pool, and balcony with its view were all highlights. Ilaria and her mother paid attention to every detail and were always available, attentive, and respectful of our needs. Not everyone is like that! The place was extremely clean. I've never found a jacuzzi this clean in years of traveling. It was also close to everyday essentials, including supermarkets, a pharmacy, and a tobacconist. Having a private parking space was another plus, since that's not always available. I'd recommend it for a few days of rest. Excellent value for money, and we'll definitely be back.

We came for a relaxing couples' break, and the loft was a dream. The landlady and her parents were the nicest people I've met, so helpful, friendly, and attentive. The outdoor pool was spotless and well maintained, with loungers and parasols, and we could park in the garage. The hot tub was a highlight for evening relaxation. We also enjoyed morning coffee on the balcony or terrace, which had two loungers and a sofa. Inside, everything was extremely clean and stylish. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the bathroom perfectly adequate, and the kitchen had enough equipment, though an oven would have been the icing on the cake. The loft is on the top floor, so there's quite a climb. It wouldn't be ideal for someone with limited mobility. This is a quiet place for a relaxing holiday, not for action or parties. There's not a huge amount to see, but a 20-minute walk gets you to the next town for boat trips. The grocery store across the street has limited choice and is very expensive, so I'd recommend doing a bigger shop at Lidl in Como first and using it for just a few things. The nearby towns only have small, very expensive corner shops. The pizzeria across the street was really good, and it's a one-minute walk to the lake. The shore is rocky, so bring water shoes. The drive along the lake is bumpy and the roads are very narrow. Meeting a bus head-on is definitely nerve-racking. I parked the car and didn't use it again because it felt too risky to me, though I'm a bit of a scaredy-cat about that. We'll be back!
