Maison de Denise

Great!

Jean Pierre and his mother were both so friendly. The region is gorgeous, and the house is clean, well kept, and practical, with a great location. Wonderful stay. Go without hesitation.

We stayed for two weeks and loved this beautiful holiday home. It’s thoughtfully furnished, has everything you could need, and the little terrace looks out over the lake. There’s a small shop across the road with everyday basics for nights you’d rather not eat out. The owners are exceptionally friendly and helpful, and sort out any problems that come up. The lake, nearby area, and charming little villages are all beautiful. We’ll definitely return.

From the balcony upstairs and the terrace, you can see the lake, and it’s only a short walk down to the water. The shop is even closer, though it wasn’t well stocked, and there’s a restaurant nearby that we didn’t try. Inside, the holiday home was spotless, comfortable, and carefully furnished. It had everything, including a large fridge with freezer, cookware, dishes and glasses, a toaster, two kinds of coffee machines, and even dishwasher detergent, filters, and basic spices. The bathroom was comfortable and had plenty of storage, hangers, and a laundry basket. The outside still has architectural details from centuries ago. Our friendly, helpful host had left water and rosé in the fridge. We’d definitely come back.
