Villa Bellagio

The quiet setting was a welcome break from all the noise in Bellagio, and I’d recommend this place without hesitation. Getting around without a car can be a bit tough, as the bus to Bellagio doesn’t seem to run very regularly. From the balcony, the view of Lake Como is completely open, and the house is cute, just like the listing says. The host was very, very nice and shared local tips, including an affordable bakery with lots of fresh goods, where we got almost 3 types of pastries for 5 euros. The kitchen is fully equipped. Just be aware there’s another apartment called Bellagio villas on the other side of Lezzeno.

There are shared gardens where you can sunbathe or get into the lake for a swim. The house is clean and neat, right next to the lake, with a nice view.

We were in Como for a wedding and had a great stay. Our whole family could be together right on the water. The landlord was very helpful and went out of their way when we needed assistance.

The owners were great at making sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. During our stay, we had a free washing machine, kayaks, and a grill. The rooms could use some modernization, but the owners’ attitude made that easy to overlook. A great location if you want to be close to the water.
