We stayed for a week during carnival in both 2017 and 2018, and found the place very comfortable. The owners are lovely. The apartments are spacious, with a kitchen and living area plus two separate bedrooms, so there's room to spread out and cook. Parking is behind a gate. Punta Sabbioni dock is a five-minute walk, and boats to Lido and San Marco run every 30 minutes.

With the sea and boat station close by, this is a peaceful spot for a few days in a natural setting. A great little paradise if you're traveling with pets.

Be careful booking a short stay directly with them during high season. Four months before arriving, I booked a 55 m2 apartment through Ca Baccan's website and paid the deposit. At their request, I paid the balance three days before arrival. They moved me without telling me to a wholly independent place in another location, not within walking distance of the port. It was also inferior: 30m2 rather than 55m2, everyone sleeping in one room, less space, a smaller terrace and an unenclosed car parking area. We exchanged several emails because I was arriving late, but they never mentioned the alternative. When I reached their location, they sent me away, saying I was staying at a second Ca Baccan house somewhere else. Please note, there is no second Ca Baccan house. I found all this out at 10pm in mid-August with three children in the car, so I had no choice but to stay there. It ruined the start of our holiday and cost me a sleepless night. After the stay I asked for one-third of the price back. To make up for the trouble, Agroturismo eventually refunded the full amount, so I've added a star to my review.
