Hotel Anapaya

I'm really enjoying it!

...nope.

The location worked out so well for us: the neighborhood is quiet, and the beach and nightlife are just a 10-minute walk away. We booked a long weekend at the last minute and accidentally canceled the correct number of people online, but the hotel quickly sorted things out and saved the booking. The rooms were roomy and clean, and the place felt modern but still familiar. Everyone on staff was kind and helpful, and the prices were fair. Thanks, we'll be back ❤️

The room costs were a letdown. We'd asked for two separate single rooms, but only one single and one pricier double were available, at €279 and €347 for 3 nights. Once we saw them, they were identical in size and layout. It felt unfair to pay more for a double that wasn't any bigger. I split the bill with my friend and paid his extra amount. Noise was the bigger problem: we could hear everything from next door, even flushing and an alarm clock. The rooms were cramped too, with barely any gap between the bed and table. Construction behind the hotel added loud mornings. The safe never worked despite three staff attempts, so I had to bring my money and documents to the beach. The fridge also failed at first, though they fixed it soon after we mentioned it. There were some good parts. The atmosphere was cozy, the furniture looked stylish, the pool was lovely, and the bathrooms were modern. Staff were friendly throughout and breakfast was good. But they didn't make it clear that breakfast included only one coffee, with extra cups charged separately. You also had to ask staff for coffee, which meant waiting. A hotel with potential, but these issues took away from my stay.
