We came from Slovakia as a young family, with our son, and had a wonderful stay. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, and kept very clean and tidy every day. Claims that they were dirty are simply false and misleading, and I don't understand why people say that. From the start, the hotel felt welcoming, like home. The staff were excellent, always friendly, helpful and smiling. A special greeting to the cheerful young man at reception, who made things even nicer for us. My only suggestion would be to add sausages to breakfast, perhaps classic Viennese ones or another kind, and proper classic scrambled eggs. We enjoyed our stay thanks to the staff's care and the comfortable rooms, and we'd be glad to come back.

The hotel wasn't cheap, and the service was really bad. I didn't enjoy my stay. They put us in a small attic room with a sloping roof, so it was hard to move around. There were no slippers, which was a problem since I hadn't brought any. The bathroom had no shower cabin, and water spread across the floor with no wiper to clear it. When you stepped back into the room, the floor got wet and so did the bed. They knew I had a four-month-old baby. I asked if we could change rooms because I needed a small balcony to dry the baby's clothes. They said there were no other rooms, even though some were empty.

The people working here were so friendly and did everything to make us feel at home. Everything was clean, and breakfast was good with lots of choices. It takes about 10 minutes to reach the beach. On the way there, there's a market, gift shop, bakery and restaurant on the right, so you have what you need. We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Carla. I'll definitely book here again when I return to Italy. Thanks, everyone.

I'm still shocked by how rude the people at reception were. They treated me as if I had no value, and honestly came across as bullies. I wouldn't recommend the breakfast or going there unless they change the staff. Seriously.
