Hotel Romantik

The hotel's location right in the heart of Lignano was fantastic, but the rest of our family stay left us frustrated from check-in to check-out. Our family room felt outdated, and the hotel seems due for a major renovation. Breakfast was another letdown: little variety, poor quality, mostly basic pastries, and not much else. The staff, especially at breakfast, came across as unprofessional. One waiter had an unpleasant odor, and the woman in the kitchen ignored my requests for eggs twice. Noise was a problem too. We could hear every sound from other guests, which made it hard to sleep. I rate our stay at Romantik Hotel as 1 star. With its prime location it could be much better, but I can't recommend Romantik Hotel to others. Other hotels in Lignano offer a more comfortable, professional experience.

We booked at short notice and arrived late, but everything went smoothly. The room was clean, and they put on a buffet breakfast in the morning. It's about 200m straight down the road to the beach, an easy walk. One of many hotels in Lignano Sabbiadoro, and I'd recommend it.

A charming little hotel with lovely staff. The ladies are truly nice, and the rooms have air conditioning and a TV, though the channel list is mostly Italian with a few music stations like VH1. Prices are FANTASTIC, too, so I was really satisfied. Parking is the one minus. On vacation, you can leave the car and see Lignano on foot, rent a bike, or perhaps take a cab. It's a beautiful Italian city with amazing people. Every restaurant and bar we visited, everyone seemed so kind and committed to their work. Maybe it's just me, but you'll see for yourself.

What a nice surprise. The staff were cheerful, friendly, and helpful, and our clean rooms were furnished practically, without unnecessary details. We loved the breakfast for a 3-star Italian hotel, and there's a sunbathing terrace on the roof deck. Free bicycle rental is available. Parking for 8 cars is on the ground floor, with another hotel lot on the next street. We parked opposite the hotel on the white line, where city parking is free. The receptionist also showed us some nice apartments around the corner, suitable for families or guests with dogs. Breakfast is available there too for a small fee. Beach service is included in the price, with chairs and umbrellas at beach area NO´2, a bit far from the hotel. If you don't need a chair and umbrella, the beach is only 200m away. After a full renovation, this will be a very nice hotel. I hope we can visit next season. Please change the facade color. :-) See you next time, Maria and Rastislav
