Hotel Tivoli

A small family-run hotel with clean rooms and great value for money. Parking and beach sun loungers are included in the price. It's ideally placed between the beach and the shopping street. Breakfast has a limited selection, but the products are fresh.

The owner, her sons, and the staff were incredibly friendly, and the Aperol Spritz was delicious! The room was very clean too. It's a great location, just two minutes from the center and one minute from the beach. Perfect for a 2-star hotel. We're already looking forward to next year, and the minestrone 😉😂😂😂. We’ve been coming here for more than 10 years, and the value for money usually keeps us happy. The staff are very friendly, and the rooms are clean and tidied every day. They’re roomy enough for two, simply furnished, and have a balcony with a table and chair, plus a desk, wardrobe, chair or stool, and safe. The air conditioning generally works well. You can use the hotel’s sun loungers and parasols on the beach for free. The location is right in central Lignano Sabbiadoro, between the beach and the busy shopping street. It’s a small privately owned place with around 15 rooms and its own wine bar, “Taj&Rum.” Breakfast is downstairs in the bar, with seats indoors and outdoors. The outdoor area can be noisy because it’s close to the street. There’s enough choice, though nothing special: ham, salami, cheese, jams, yogurt, boiled eggs, muesli, milk, instant coffees, water and two juices from vending machines, which we wouldn’t recommend. Barista coffee costs extra. Parking on site is free, but when the hotel is full there may not be room, so you might have to use public parking. Wi-Fi is free too, though the signal in the rooms is often weak. The rooms can be quite noisy. The TV is small and reception is often poor, with few German channels.

The aperitif is the standout here, with tasty appetizers made from good, fresh ingredients. There’s a well-stocked cellar, with drinks ranging from simple options to more refined wines. The place is average overall, but it’s one of the few establishments open all year at this time of year.
