Pelikan

The room itself was dusty and didn't feel clean. I left a few coins on the shelf beside the bed while emptying my wallet, and the cleaners took them. I wasn't bothered about the money, but it wasn't a tip, either. I'd avoid leaving cash lying around. Breakfast was poor and the small eating area felt uncomfortable with waiters rushing around. There was bread, cereal with kefir, a little ham, and tea, but the tea bags were tucked away among or beneath the plates, and nothing was clearly marked or arranged. From our balcony we did get a nice view, which was about the only good thing. We only learned about the parking situation after asking. It was 600 to 800 meters away, and we got a little map that looked like a six-year-old had drawn it. Some street names helped us find our way, but the actual lot was still hard to locate. No signs or clear directions, just a gate key and an extra fee. They hadn't warned us about the distance beforehand. At check-in, we also found out our reserved room had been given to another family because, they said, that family had more people and we had fewer. Nobody had contacted us by message, email, or phone to let us know. They put us in a much smaller room with one bed instead of the two-bedroom room with three beds we'd booked. We asked for the bed to be separated, which they did, and accepted the replacement because they promised a discount. That came to just five euros. When we paid, they said all rooms cost the same, though the one we had booked was clearly larger and better. It was a disappointing stay, with poor communication, a dirty room, weak breakfast, and awkward parking. I wouldn't recommend it.

The location was great and the food was good, though the rooms were very average.

A lovely place, and the staff are wonderful. They help you out with anything.
