San Carlo

Hotel San Carlo is right in the center, with shops, restaurants, and attractions close by, and the beach only a short walk away. My room was spacious, beautifully furnished, and spotless, with a very comfortable bed. From arrival, the staff were welcoming and provided excellent service that made the stay easy and enjoyable. I had a delightful visit to Lignano Sabbiadoro and would happily stay here again.

After traveling around the world, this was easily the best experience I’ve had. The rooms were extremely clean, the food was delicious, and the hospitality made the whole stay amazing. Margharet and the team went above and beyond to meet our expectations. Keep it up!

The rooftop swimming pool was a big bonus. My room was large and very clean, with a TV, minibar, fan, and a big balcony overlooking the sea. The bed was the best ever, I slept like a baby. It’s an older hotel, but the rooms have been renovated in a modern style. Breakfast was great too, with everything from sweet treats to delicious fruit.

I’ve been staying here since 2012 and plan to keep coming back. The location is terrific, near neuartigen Piazza Fontana, Terrazze Mare, and Via Tolmezzo, with shops, cafés, and bars around. The restaurant staff are qualified, friendly, and humorous; lunch and dinner are menus you can choose from, with a salad bar and plenty of desserts. Breakfast is a buffet with a large assortment of Italian coffees. The menus are in Italian and German, but the staff also speak English. The rooms are great, with options for families, wheelchair users, and single guests. I really appreciate how friendly the staff are and how welcome they make you feel.
