Villa Rosanna

The one real plus was the location, just a few steps from the sea. Otherwise, we were very disappointed. The apartment looked nothing like the published photos, and the rooms felt neglected. There was a bad smell that we couldn’t clear during our stay. We weren’t expecting luxury, just basic cleanliness and what had been promised. With more care and transparency, this could be a good place. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless major improvements are made.

The apartment has good air conditioning, roomy and comfortable rooms, and a good location. The price also includes an umbrella and loungers. There are plenty of drawbacks, though. The initial cleaning wasn’t good, the shower curtain setup and a poorly draining shower meant the bathroom flooded every time. The TV had too many foreign channels, while the Italian ones were limited or missing. Parking was reserved but awkward to use. You also don’t find out whether the apartment is on the ground, first, or second floor until you arrive.

Villa Rosanna is easy to get around from, with everything close by, including Lidl, the center, and the amusement park. The sandy beach is large and has shells, and two beach loungers are included. We’d recommend it. Just be aware that parking is the downside, as some cars ended up blocked in. A small drawback, too, is that bed linen and towels aren’t included in the price and have to be bought separately.

We shared a room in a villa with friends, but it had a strong mold smell. The TV and air conditioner remotes were missing batteries, and you have to order the bed linen and towels separately. The shower drain kept clogging, and the outlet in the room with the two single beds didn't work properly. Be prepared for these issues.
