We arrived very late, after our booking had been cancelled because the check-in time had passed, but the host at the entrance still welcomed us. Really good service, very professional, and great value for money. The facilities made for an easy weekend in Lignano, with a swimming pool, a really good breakfast, and an automatic vending machine. Highly recommended!

The location near the beach was great, and we were happy with our stay. Our room was very clean and nice, and the buffet was decent for the price.

The pool is cleverly designed, so even though it isn’t large, it doesn’t feel cramped and there’s enough room for guests. The hotel is close to the beach and shops, and we really enjoyed a street food festival just a five-minute walk away during our stay. Bring mosquito spray or wipes, though, the mosquitoes are relentless. Aside from that, we had a good time. The rooms and breakfast were fine for a three-star hotel. Breakfast got a bit crowded just after opening, but it was manageable.

The pool was great, though it was full of sand and could have used a cleaning. Breakfast had a good selection, but the tables were packed together with no safety distance, and although the buffet was free, plastic gloves were required. The restaurant attendant was excellent and professional. Reception, on the other hand, didn’t seem very interested in customer care, and could be rude in some situations. I booked ahead because the hotel had an agreement for a beach umbrella, but there weren’t enough umbrellas for all the rented rooms, so I went my whole stay without one. The hotel is old and its services aren’t very convenient. They didn’t even have a toothbrush when I asked. I’ve spent summers in Lignano for the past 20y, and this was definitely one of the worst places I’ve stayed.
