The €25 dinner buffet was a real highlight, with plenty of variety and great value. Breakfast was fine, though it didn’t impress me as much. I also couldn’t understand the €35 charge for the spa when it was almost empty. It comes across as greedy, and I think the hotel would be better off with a lively, well-used spa. The hotel itself feels fresh, new, and very clean, and the room was comfortable and well cared for. The only letdown there was the lack of a particularly nice view.

The slopes are right nearby and the service was perfect. Supper was very good, with something for everyone. There’s no shop in the area, though, and a one-way taxi costs 20 euros. Breakfast was below average. I know it isn’t the main thing in Italy, but a 4 star hotel should do much better.

I went to the gym, which is small but has everything you need, though I didn’t try the spa. The dinner was a pleasant surprise: lots of choice at the buffet, and the staff stayed attentive even with a full room. The staff are mostly young, but professional and very friendly. The new hotel sits right on the ski slopes, and the room and building were spotless, which matters most to me. I’ll definitely come back.
