We picked the Mareneve mainly because it's pet friendly, and it turned out to be a great find. The value is good, and the Sicilian hospitality is genuinely warm. Our room had spectacular views, and the garden was peaceful, with jacuzzis. Breakfast was basic. The Gatto Blue restaurant was actually very nice, with good food, and the gentleman serving the tables was professional and attentive. We'll be back for sure. Highly recommended.

Maria at the front desk was very helpful, and I really enjoyed the free room upgrade. It's a peaceful place on the outskirts of Linguaglossa.

We enjoyed the hotel gardens in the evening, especially the several jacuzzis guests could use free of charge. The hotel sits at the edge of a beautiful little mountain town, with lovely views of the surrounding nature and subtle reminders of Etna's heritage. Public transport nearby is limited, so renting a car is better if you want to visit Etna for skiing or hiking, or explore the neighboring villages and towns. My wife and I had a very good stay. The staff were pleasant and helpful, and spoke English well. Breakfast and restaurant meals were both very good, and the price was reasonable.

The jacuzzis could be cleaner, but we had a great view of Etna from our balcony and the rooms were big enough. Breakfast was great, with fresh fruit and nuts, and there was nearly something for every taste. The restaurant was clean, the staff were kind, and free parking was a nice extra. I seriously recommend it.
