Grand Hotel Arciduca

We booked three spacious rooms, but ended up with two large ones and a third that was tiny, with a much smaller bathroom and worse amenities. When we asked what could be done, the manager arrogantly said, “There’s nothing we can do for you,” then walked away. At one point someone even told us to “go for a walk” and forget about it. The staff experience was deeply frustrating, especially with a receptionist who was rude and dismissive. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I wouldn't recommend it.

We can't recommend this place.

The rooms feel dated, though they were comfortable enough, and the air conditioning was powerful, which you really need in summer. Staff were friendly and helpful. It's a nice enough hotel for a short Lipari break: the center and its connections to beaches and other islands are about 15 minutes away, there's a little marina around the corner, and the beach is five minutes away.

Rooms are on the small side but clean, and the staff are super polite and helpful. Pool towels cost 4 euros, and the lobby looks tacky.
