Hotel Odissea

The staff were all extremely kind, from the people serving breakfast to reception and housekeeping. Gaia deserves special thanks for being so available and ready to meet guests' needs, and we had wonderful days there. Breakfast was plentiful, with delicious sweet and savory choices. Our room and bathroom were both spacious. The hotel is in the center of Canneto, with the bus stop for Lipari nearby. We'll definitely return next time.

The rooms were clean, and the location was convenient for walking to bus stops, bars, restaurants, and supermarkets. Those were the only things I appreciated. The staff felt unwelcoming and made guests seem unnecessary and out of place. My experience wasn't entirely bad because of the location, but I'd have preferred a welcoming property with kind, helpful staff, even if it were less well located.

We stayed four nights as a couple on a motorcycle trip, from June 12th to 16th. The hotel was very nice and clean, and the staff were so helpful and happy to accommodate all our whims. The room was lovely, with a small veranda that was perfect for our aperitif and a large refrigerator. Breakfast was generous and made with high-quality products. Thanks especially to the manager and her assistant Sara for indulging our last requests. And thanks to the evening waitress, “the foreigner,” for her excellent dining tips and for booking a reservation for us. Highly recommended!

I’d happily stay here again. The staff were quick to help and always courteous, especially Gaia, the manager, who took care of every request. The hotel is great value, with roomy, comfortable rooms and a terrace where you can sit and take in the sea view. It’s only steps from the water, and there’s a bus stop right outside.
