Breakfast was plentiful and yummy, and the pool is fun for kids and adults alike. The pool bar is a winner too. The hotel is simple and very clean, with comfortable rooms, air conditioning, and no fancy bedding or toiletries. The grounds are nice, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. It’s a short walk to the main town, with lots of restaurants, bars, and activities to book. I wouldn’t bring a car since town is small. You can take a bus to explore, ask restaurants to collect you for dinner, or hire a little car here for fun. Boat trips to nearby islands are easy to arrange. I highly recommend visiting volcano island, which is very close, and there’s great shopping for simple touristy things. We’re here in mid June, and it’s perfect, not too hot and not busy.

The place was clean and well looked after, a short walk outside town. Maybe it was because the season was ending, but they were stingy with towels. For two days, the bathroom water was warm instead of hot.

The pool is hard not to love, and the staff are incredible, so warm and friendly. On my first night I had trouble with the air conditioning, and Aurora worked tirelessly to get it fixed. The hotel is a bit of a walk uphill from the station and central Lipari, so some kind of ferry shuttle would be a welcome improvement. Other cheaper hotels offer one. Even so, I’d absolutely stay here again if I return to Lipari.

It was easy to get to town and the amenities, including the ferry terminals, and Lipari itself is a beautiful island with friendly locals. The rooms were always clean, with a nice view from the balcony. The pool was fabulous, very clean, and had plenty of bubbles. Staff were all friendly and helpful, and they spoke English when needed. We only ate breakfast, which was the same each day: mostly cold meats and cheese, with plenty of cake and fruit. A typical continental spread. It’s a lovely, quiet hotel.

The location was great, and the pool was incredible. We’d get granita and brioche for brunch at Arte e Sapporo, then spend time lounging by the pool. It felt like heaven, and we were so happy we chose this hotel. The staff were lovely too.
