Breakfast was generous, made with fresh ingredients, and served on a terrace with a lovely view. The owners were very kind and always ready to suggest beaches, excursions, or traditional restaurants. The B&B is spotless and carefully looked after, in a quiet spot just minutes from the town center and port. I had a truly special stay in Lipari and felt right at home. Highly recommended if you’re after a relaxed, genuine welcome in the Aeolian Islands! 🌺

Mrs. Bartolina made us feel at home as soon as we arrived, and her homemade cakes were a treat. She also had plenty of suggestions for beaches, restaurants, theaters, and other ways to enjoy the vacation. The garden is lovely to share with other guests, especially under the huge orange tree. Breakfast is served there, with a chance to chat, mostly with the lively Mrs. Bartolina. Our comfortable quadruple room had space for everyone, and the whole property was spotless and well cared for. We’ve just spent five fabulous days on beautiful Lipari and are already a little sad to leave. We’d definitely return to La Zagara 🌼🍊🏖️🌬️♥️

Bartolina was sweet and attentive, and her knowledge of the island is encyclopedic. She pointed us towards good places to eat and memorable things to do in Lipari and the neighboring islands. The B&B is only about 200 meters from the port and right at the start of the historic center and shopping streets, yet tucked away enough for quiet, restful nights. Breakfast was a lovely start to the day, especially Bartolina’s excellent homemade cakes and the time spent chatting together. We leave feeling enriched by the vacation.

The B&B is very close to the port for hydrofoils and buses, as well as the historic center. Mrs. Bartolina welcomed us so warmly and was always kind, hospitable, and available. Our room was spacious and cleaned every day, and she made delicious homemade cakes for breakfast. We had a wonderful time and will definitely come back soon. Hugs from Girolamo and Manuela
