The food was fresh, delicious, and served by a really friendly team. The rooms and pool were clean, and there was a nice sauna and even a gym. A shop just 200 m away stays open through siesta, which was handy. At Vila Blanca, opening the windows brought in loads of light and fresh air, and every window had an insect screen. Some villas have fully equipped kitchens. The nature around here is amazing, with 4-5 hiking trails nearby. Ask Simone, the owner, which trail app to use so you don't get lost. Really welcoming and clean. Big recommendation!

Lisciano Niccone is tiny and peaceful, which made this a great spot for a quiet break. The family who owns the place were kind and helpful. Everything was clean, tidy, and spacious, and there's a big pool and a small gym. There isn't air conditioning, but the village sits in a valley, so the rooms stay pleasantly cool.

We've come back for a second stay, this time with nine of us using two apartments, and it worked really well. The apartments are roomy and have all the facilities you need, including a gym. The peaceful spot in the Niccone Valley has lovely views and makes a relaxing base for exploring Lake Trasimeno, Cortona, Siena, Florence, Assisi, Perugia, and more. You'll need a car, though. We drove to Terontola station and took the train to Rome. The village shop is a short walk away for daily essentials. The family run this Agritourismo with great care. Everything is beautifully clean and well looked after, and Simone is especially gracious and helpful. The evening dinners were wonderful, with tasty food cooked just right. We were even invited to pick fruit and vegetables from the garden. There's a beautiful, spotless pool bordered by tiles and grass, with trees for shade on hot days. We meant to try the built in BBQ in its own garden area but didn't get around to it. Maybe next time. A lovely place for a relaxing holiday with family, friends, or children. Highly recommended.

We got to try the new restaurant before it opened, as guests of the agritourismo. It's set in a quiet, open spot with a stunning view of Castello Di Lisciano Niccone. The food was exceptional, made with locally sourced ingredients, and the wine list was sensibly priced.
