We had a hard time sleeping because the walls and doors are so thin that you hear other people. The beds were awful too, with every spring and lump noticeable, and the two pillows were completely different, one soft and one rock hard. The room itself was dirty, old, and uncomfortable. There was nowhere to dry our ski clothes, and we didn’t dare put them on the moldy radiators. On the second morning there was no hot water for a shower, and there was mold as well. There’s a big closet in name only, with just two hangers and no cupboards, so there’s hardly room for clothes. While emptying the trash, we found a snail shell in one of the cabinets. We know it’s an apartment, but some hand soap and dish soap would have helped, along with more than two toilet rolls, especially since we arrived after the supermarkets had closed. One more heads-up: if you take the tunnel, after paying 50€ for a return ticket in Switzerland, it’s closed on Saturdays from 9 - 18 for the return trip. We weren’t warned and had to drive an extra 2+ hours to get back. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

The best parts were the large, reasonably comfortable main bed, the decent cleanliness, convenient free parking with plenty of spaces, and the pretty views of pasture, woods, and mountains behind the property. Still, we wouldn’t rent here again. There are several apartments, and some of the photos looked much nicer than ours, so I assume one or more units have been renovated. Our shower was small and worn compared with the one in the pictures. In the morning, the water was barely warm and the pressure was weak. The supposed twin bed was an uncomfortable cot. Up on the top floor, the sloped ceilings are only about 5 feet high at the walls, so at 6'2" I had to watch my head. The lighting was dim. The kitchen has no windows and just one light, probably a 60 W bulb, on the wall opposite the cabinets and counter. There was no soap in the kitchen or bathroom, and only one roll of toiletpaper. The kitchen had plates and forks, but almost none of the usual supplies, such as cleaning products, trash bags, salt, or pepper. There was one dish towel, so bring everything else you think you’ll need. At check-in the desk clerk was very gracious, but her manager seemed distinctly unfriendly for no apparent reason. Also, 9:30 AM was the earliest checkout time we’ve ever had to meet.
Apartment 102b on the ground floor stayed cold and damp the whole time, and mold developed as a result. One of the windows wouldn’t close, leaving a gap we had to stuff with towels. We asked the tourist agency, Erregi Livigno, for a heater, but it didn’t arrive until the third day. Very poor property and service.
For a whole week, the owner kept frightening us by coming into the room without knocking and switching off the lights and power. Management swore at us using bad words in Italian, maybe because we were a group of young people. It was very unprofessional, and we were really unhappy with how we were treated.
The location worked well for us, near both the bus stop and the city centre, and the place was clean. The beds were uncomfortable, though, and the kitchen was missing some dishes. It’d be nice if those things could be improved. Thanks.
