The ski storage was handy, but I can't see why people call this a great location. During our week there, it felt quite out of the way compared with other places we've stayed in Livigno. The apartment was very small for three people, even though it's meant to sleep four. I can imagine four would feel really claustrophobic. It would also help if a few basics were supplied, like washing-up liquid and more than one roll of toilet paper. The towels smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, and the heating came on at odd times, so we were often cold in the evenings. We won't stay again. There are much better places in Livigno at the same price.

We were treated like naughty schoolchildren during the checkout inspection, which felt humiliating. Before returning our deposit, the owner questioned why my son had used the sofa bed, checked the sheets on the beds directly, and commented on two plastic items in the recycling bin. They kept €50 of our €150 deposit over a small chocolate stain on the sofa-bed mattress. The apartment was clean, but had a bit of a homely feel, and every so often the place smelled of cigarette smoke. It would have been helpful to have some basic supplies, such as toilet paper, hand soap, washing-up liquid, and salt.

The large parking area was useful, and the apartment is very good, with a bus stop right outside and the city center just a three-minute walk away. I only held back one star because the price is a little high.

Bait dal cucù is right in front of the bus shelter used by the blue and green lines. The apartment is very nice and just a few steps from ski lift 9. Mrs. Caty was kind and helpful.
