The doors and windows let cold air into these very old apartments, especially on the ground floor. When the heating came on in the morning, all the windows were wet with condensation. We stayed just one night, froze, and left the next morning.

A real plus is the location, close to the slopes. After a day of skiing, you can get right to the apartment door. Emanuela, the owner, is friendly and helpful, though unfortunately we didn’t meet in person. Some apartments are older but comfortable for a week, while others are new and look beautiful. Equipment is included. The walls are thin, though, and we could hear people in the other apartments.

There’s a place behind the hotel where kids can play in the snow. The slope is nearby, so you can walk there to ski.
